The term "shank's Pony" has never been more appropriate!! and serve her right!!.
After slowly wrecking two very clean Jaguar's, as she charged up unmade lanes, over hill and down dale! It became very obvious to me that both cars would have to go in favour of something a little more suitable for carrying the variety of horsy equipment that we now seem to have acquired. We always seem to purchase this equipment when I am away!
Bernie wanted a four by four, so for the next few months we fought like cat and dog over long wheelbase or short wheelbase, manual or auto, diesel or petrol, and finally, colour.. She wanted pink with white leather, Oh so practical for sitting on when your covered in horse poo!!, and a selection of new forest foliage.!
So after seven months of looking at just about every appropriate web site and numerous test drives as you can see we have acquired our four by four.
Strangely enough Bernie seems to have spent more on outfits to match the car than it cost to buy!....
