Over the last few years Bernie has built up a wide circle of friends in and around the equestrian world as I am sure you can see from the other pages on this site. This page is for all her "Local" friends whom she spends time with on a regular basis,("most of them get to see her more than I do").
Bernie shares the stables with a young lady by the name of Nicola Jane who she met some five years ago at Oakdene stables when both horses were stabled there.Nicola Jane has a somewhat more placid nature around horses, but can be rather volatile when it comes to her poor suffering partner graham. The girls ride out into the local forest two or three times a week and can often be seen hurtling over hill and down dale, heading blindly into the afternoon sun screaming to each other, " I brought a spare pair of knickers did you? ". This amusing and charismatic attitude the girls seem to share once on horseback has been the source of much entertainment to a variety of people out for a quiet stroll on the forest with there dogs. On the odd occasion I have ventured out with them on foot and am bewildered as we walk up the lane and through the forest paths to find couples picnicking, almost waiting for a glimpse of the afternoons entertainment!!, Bernie and Nicola Jane never seem to disappoint..............
